About us

Blythswood Banat is a registered charity focused on community development programmes in the western part of Romania. It runs two after-school programmes for children from families with difficulties -- one for primary and the other for secondary school children. The organisation supports people infected with HIV and provides home care for the elderly. In partnership with local authorities, Blythswood Banat organises an annual international art symposium in honour of the german painter Stefan Jäger and an outdoor musical event in the main park of the town for the International Children’s Day. Services are financially supported by Blythswood Care, its own commercial activities and local authorities. Blythswood Banat is a branch of Blythswood Romania.
